Cargill is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Assistant II to support our palm oil plantation operations in Ketapang. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for sustainable agriculture and a commitment to excellence. As a Field Assistant II, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our palm oil plantations, ensuring optimal productivity and sustainability.

In this role, you will work closely with our team of experts to monitor and manage the health of our palm oil trees, implement best practices for sustainable farming, and contribute to our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental footprint. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including tree health assessments, pest and disease management, soil and water conservation, and the implementation of sustainable farming practices.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Monitor and assess the health of palm oil trees, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
• Implement and monitor best practices for sustainable farming, including agroforestry, soil conservation, and water management.
• Conduct regular inspections of plantation areas to ensure compliance with Cargill’s sustainability standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed records of plantation activities, including tree health, pest and disease management, and sustainable farming practices.
• Collaborate with the team to implement and monitor pest and disease management strategies, including the use of integrated pest management (IPM) techniques.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in sustainable agriculture.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable farming practices, including the use of renewable energy sources and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
• Work safely and responsibly, adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum 2 years of experience in palm oil plantation operations or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices, including agroforestry, soil conservation, and water management.
• Familiarity with integrated pest management (IPM) techniques and the use of IPM software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including tractors and other agricultural machinery.
• Fluency in both English and Indonesian languages.
